Anne M. Lalla, 44, of 151 W. Oak St., North English, died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, in North English. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City, by the Rev. Judy Gingerich. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Iowa City. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a Women of the Moose service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Anne M. Lalla Memorial Fund.
Anne was born Dec. 2, 1960, in Iowa City, the daughter of Vince and Mary Patricia "Pat" (Maiuri) Lalla. She attended junior high at Regina High School and then attended Iowa City High School. Anne was a member of Iowa City Women of the Moose, English Valley Parent Teacher Organization and the English Valleys Booster Club. She had lived in North English for the past nine years.
Survivors include her children, Patrick and Brandon, both of North English; her mother, Pat Lalla of Iowa City; her paternal grandmother, Pearl Lalla of Coralville; brothers and sisters, Joe Lalla and wife Vicki, Jim Lalla, Jon Lalla, Miranda Lalla and Jason Lalla, all of Iowa City; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends, the Jeff and Melissa Kingland family of North English.
Anne was preceded in death by her father, Vince Lalla.
