Iva Irene Glandon was born January 14, 1930 near North English, Iowa, the daughter of Bruce & Martha (Haman) Wyant. She graduated from North English High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Hester's Feed before she was married.

On November 30, 1952 Iva was united in marriage to Bobbie Glandon in North English. After they married, they moved to Webster and she was the Webster water operator and superintendent for many years as well as a bookkeeper for their farm and trucking business. Iva was a member of the Webster United Methodist Church, the UMW, was a Sunday school & Bible school teacher and served on various church committees. She was also a member of the True Blue Club and Red Hats. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, sewing, reading, bicycling, cooking, canning and arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Iva passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the English Valley Care Center in North English at the age of 91 years.

She is survived by her children, Allan (Kathy) Glandon of Sigourney, Cathie (Gary) Campbell of Wellman, Julie (Bob) James of Cedar Rapids and Gerald (Terri) Glandon of Webster; six grandchildren, Crystal Hornback, Allison (David) Weber, Rustie (Aaron) Hampton, and Thomas, Jacob & Megan Glandon; and three great grandchildren Madelynn Hornback and Levi & Russell Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce & Martha Wyant; husband, Bobbie Glandon, brothers, Henry, Elmer & George Wyant; a sister Beulah Lortz and a granddaughter Kaitlin Glandon.

Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Webster United Methodist Church in Webster. Burial will be in the Sorden Cemetery, near Webster. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. The family would like to request that attendees wear masks to both the visitation and funeral service. Memorials are for the Webster United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank the English Valley Care Center and Essence of Life Hospice for the excellent care that they provided for Iva.
