Arnold Gerhard Schnebbe was born February 24, 1932, near Conroy, Iowa, the son of Arnold and Esther (Huedepohl) Schnebbe. He graduated from Conroy High School in 1950. Arnold served in the United States Army from 1954-1955. Arnold was united in marriage to Delma Shultz on November 17, 1957 at the Victor United Methodist Church in Victor.

He was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Conroy where he has served on the ESR committee, as an elder, on the finance board and the church council. Arnold enjoyed traveling to Europe, going to the sale barn, baling hay working with his hands and spending time with his family.

Arnold passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 89.

He is survived by his wife Delma; six children, Dennis (Deanna) Schnebbe of Marengo, Randy (Amy Jo "AJ") Schnebbe of Victor, Joel (Shari) Schnebbe of Victor, David (Darlene) Schnebbe of Evansville, WI, Kelyn Schnebbe of South Amana and Minda (Mark) Dearden of Bondurant; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; two sisters, Bertina (Gordon) Wolfe of Williamsburg and Vera Hoover of Vancouver, WA and a brother Harlan (Barb) Schnebbe of Williamsburg and a sister-in-law, Lynda Schnebbe of Belle Plaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Carl Schnebbe.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Conroy. Burial will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
