Patricia Ann Berger Nedrow, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, at her home after over a yearlong battle with multiple myeloma. Services: 5 p.m. Thursday, Teahen Funeral Home, by Deacon Jim Berger. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Teahen Funeral Home.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 39 years, Don; sons, Adam (Monia) of West Virginia and Nickolas (Rebecca) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Alicia, Ayman and Oakleigh; twin sister, Kathy Berger of Anamosa; brother, Mike (Jeannie) Berger of Kansas City, Kan.; nephew, Tony (Ruby) Berger; great-niece, Emma; sister-in-law, Linda (Gary) Lankton of Asheville, N.C.; brother-in-law, David (Cheryl) Nedrow of Cedar Falls; and numerous half-brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alicia; mother, Dolores Bowler; and grandparents, John and Vida Stursa.

Patricia was born on March 14, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Dolores Ann Stursa. She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1968 and attended Kirkwood Community College for medical assisting. On May 22, 1982, she married Don Nedrow in Cedar Rapids.

Patricia was a custodian for the College Community School District for 32 years, retiring in 2011. She had previously worked at the J Street SW Me Too Grocery Store, Colonial Manor of Amana and Meth-Wick Manor. Patricia was a member of St. Ludmila Catholic Church. Patricia enjoyed traveling to "Twins" conventions with Kathy, playing cards, especially Pepper. She liked baking, cooking and making her specialty, potato salad. Patricia loved being with her family and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

Patricia's family would like to thank Dr. Fusselman and his staff at PCI and UnityPoint Hospice for the compassionate care that was given to Patricia. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences can be left at www.teahenfuneralhome.com.
