Lores Dorothy Schultz died on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo, Iowa at the age of 92 years.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.

Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Interparish School Tuition Fund or St. Paul Lutheran Church. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.

Lores Dorothy Schultz was born January 1, 1929 at Miller Hospital in Williamsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Rosa (Hopp) Kleinmeyer. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and was confirmed May 28th 1944 by Pastor Brewer. On August 24, 1951 Lores was united in marriage to Norman Lee Schultz at the Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage near Williamsburg.

She worked as a housekeeper for the Amana Nursing Home and Fetzer's Best Western Hotel. She lived in Williamsburg, North English and Cedar Rapids before returning to Williamsburg in 1965. Lores was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.

She enjoyed being active with the quilter's group, bowling, gardening, golf cart rides and working on the farm with the dairy cows. She was very dotting grandmother.

She is survived by her children Valerie (Kenneth) Mattison of Williamsburg, Robert (Melinda) Schultz of Leveen, Arizona and Michelle (Christopher) Holst of Van Horne; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents; husband Norman; and a daughter Brenda McMenomy.
