Leni Kay Brandt, 74, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on Saturday, March 13, 2021 surrounded by her family. Leni suffered complications from heart related conditions.
Leni was born July 7, 1946 to William and Leota England in Louisiana, Missouri. Leni was the youngest of four children. The family moved from Missouri to Belle Plaine, IA, where she graduated from high school in 1964.

After high school she married Bruce Weldon and had 2 children, Brenda and David. They later divorced and she married Eudean Longley and had 1 child, Teri. They later divorced. She married her husband, David in 1986 and remained so until his death. Leni worked at Amana Refrigeration until she retired in 2008.

Leni enjoyed many activities such as quilting, cross stitch, reading, camping and of course spend time with family. She loved country music and religiously attended KHAK's free country music concerts. She loved hosting family holiday get-togethers and Fourth of July parties.

Leni was preceded in death by her husband, David; brother, Buck; parents; and several most loved pets.

She is survived by sister, Janet Tietge of St Paul, MN; brother, Harold (Janice) England of Cedar Rapids; three children, Brenda Stull of Belle Plaine, David (Dawn) Weldon of What Cheer and Teri (Steve) Hanson of Red Wing, MN; five grandchildren, Josh, TyAnda, Ashley, Allie, Austin; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life is 10 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with visitation on hour prior.
