Karen K. Wadsworth, 79, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa. A celebration of Karen's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, with inurnment at Wilcox Cemetery in Viola, Iowa. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Karen was born on March 30, 1941, South English, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Cathreen (Grimm) Coffman. She graduated from English Valley High School and attended Business College in Iowa City, Iowa. On Dec. 11, 1964, Karen was united in marriage to William "Bill" Wadsworth. To this union, a son was born.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived and lovingly remembered by five children, Mel (Sherry Walker) Wadsworth of Anamosa, Randy (Lisa) Williams of Anamosa, Ann (Al) Weers of Anamosa, Crystal (Steve) Edgar of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Robyn (Rick Glick) Williams of Olin, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Darla) Coffman of Ottumwa, Iowa and Cheryl (Don) Koch of Indianola, Iowa; sister-in-law, Barb Coffman of Sigourney; and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Cathreen Coffman; husband, Bill Wadsworth; son, Wayne Wadsworth; and a brother, Richard Coffman.
