Clarence Eldon Krakow, 89, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away December 29, 2020 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.
Clarence was born January 7, 1931 to Ernest and Anna (Kayler) Krakow in Marengo, IA. He attended school in Marengo and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952 until 1954. Upon return form his service, Clarence moved back to Marengo to work construction, were he was apart of the building Compass Memorial Healthcare.

On August 5, 1955 Clarence married Kathleen Drahos, together living in Belle Plaine. Later Clarence worked for Amana Refrigeration until retirement. Following retirement, he worked at the Casey’s in Belle Plaine.

Clarence enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Belle Plaine Legion.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne (Else) Krakow of Marengo; and many nieces and nephews.

Clarence is preceded by his parents; wife, Kathleen Krakow (2016); and his brothers and sisters.

Graveside Memorial Service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine with Military Honors.
