Carolyn J. Myers, age 72, of Ladora, formerly of Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Compass Memorial Hospital, Marengo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Mountainside Tabernacle Cemetery, Martinsburg, WV. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements. Online Condolences may be left at www.klosterfuneralhome.com.

Carolyn Jo Bell was born December 12, 1947 in Martinsburg, West Virginia the daughter of the late Ruth C. Bell. She attended Martinsburg High School. Carolyn was united in marriage to Carl W. Myers Sr. on April 21, 1978 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

She worked as a waitress for Midge and George Saba at The Steakhouse, The Doose Cafe and Dusty's Restaurant in Marengo, Iowa. She also worked for Holiday Inn and was a cashier for Big Lots retail store.

Carolyn was an avid bingo player and was known for her "large" cup of Pepsi everywhere she went! She will be greatly missed by the many that knew her.

She is survived by her step-son, Carl W. Myers, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV; two step-daughters, Carolyn Jefferson and Vicky Murphy both of Martinsburg, WV; two brothers, Richard Bell and Donald Bell (Gerri) both of Martinsburg, WV; five sisters, JoAnn Cox, Suzanne Burke, Suzette Bell, Beverly Stevenson all of Martinsburg, WV; Michelle (Robert) Keefer of Pigeon Forge, TN; special nieces, Charlotte Schutterle of Ladora, Sherry Steinkuehler of Marengo, Wanda Melsa- Kochuyt (Roy Stanley) of Brooklyn, and Sandy Shaull (Brian VanHeiden) of Ladora; also many other nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Myers, Sr.; her mother; a daughter, Kimberly Kay Myers; brothers Larry W. Bell and Charles "Eddie" Bell; and sisters Frankie Myers and Anna Pearl.
