Annette M. Meyer, age 68 of Marengo, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home. Memorial Service 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2019, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Lisa Crow officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday until the service time. A memorial fund has been established.

Annette is survived by her son Edward Lewis Meyer, Jr. (Kristine Tomash) of Iowa City; her sister Trudy Cunningham (Carl) of Hannibal, MO; and three brothers, Glenn Seeley Jr. (Linda), Darcie Seeley (Cindy), all of Anamosa, and Chris Seeley of Hannibal; along with nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Diane Seeley.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Leslie Seeley, and two brothers in infancy.

Annette Madaline Seeley Meyer was born January 26, 1950 in Viola, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Ruth Boots Seeley, Sr. She attended Anamosa High School with the Class of 1968, and married Edward Lewis Meyer on October 8, 1969. The couple were blessed with one son, Edward Jr. They moved to Conroy, and eventually settled in Marengo.

Annette babysat and cared for many children throughout her working years. She was an animal lover and especially loved cats. She has been a big Elvis fan since her early years and had an extensive Elvis collection. Annette was a very loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved and will be missed by those who knew her.
