James LeRoy Hradek was born April 9, 1940, in Williamsburg, the son of John and Cleopha (McDonald) Hradek. He attended Pilot Center #4 near Williamsburg. Jim served in the United States Army from 1963-1965. He farmed and enjoyed collecting guns and coins along with being outside. Jim passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 78.

He is survived by a son, William of Conroy; two grandchildren, Steven and Christina and a sister, Phyllis (Melvin) McClenathan of Brooklyn and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life Service will be 1:30 pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Williamsburg with military rites. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
