Conroy-Kevin Nicholas Scheetz was born August 8, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of William and Vera Mae (Grant) Scheetz. He graduated from Clear Creek High School. He was united in marriage to Lanie Bowers on September 9, 1989 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. To this union they were blessed with three children. They later divorced. Kevin was a life long farmer. He enjoyed old westerns, reading, trying new restaurants, road trips and having friends out at the cabin. Kevin passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home at the age 59.

He is survived by two children, Savannah (Adam) Cameron and Nicholas Scheetz all of Williamsburg; a brother, Terry Scheetz of Cosgrove and three sisters, Sandra Shank of Coralville, Linda Lown of Hiawatha and Janet Bowers of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Christian Scheetz and a brother Marc Scheetz.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Pastor Dan Jessop will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Oxford. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4-7 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A general memorial fund has been established.
