Charly Landuyt, 85, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Brookhaven Nursing Home, Brooklyn, from emphysema. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brooklyn. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home, Victor, where the family will be present from 4 to 7:30 p.m., with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m., followed by a rosary. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Landuyt of Victor; three daughters, Betty O'Mara of Cedar Rapids, Beverly Bartachek of Chelsea and Brenda Herzberg of Marengo; three sons, Charles of Solon, Camiel of Grinnell and Calvin of Chelsea;; two brothers, Victor of Blairstown and Edward of Belle Plaine; and a sister, Rachel Hodina of Ely.
