David Finnegan, 59, died recently of injuries sustained in an auto accident due to icy roads near Dingmans Ferry, Pa.

Cremation services are pending.

He is survived by his soulmate, Deb; sons, John and Eric; the lights of his life, grandsons, Brandon and Colton; his mother, Virginia Dougherty; sisters, Shirley Peer and Sandy Ethridge, and his beloved dogs.

Former Saratoga Resident

David, 60, was born in Parnell, Iowa to Virginia [Durr] and John Finnegan. A graduate of the University of Iowa, David moved with this family to Saratoga in 1991 where he resided for many years. David, a huge New York Yankees fan, always made time to coach his sons and many others in Saratoga Little League.

David is survived by his mother, Virginia Dougherty, his sisters, Shirley and Sandy, and his sons, John and Eric Finnegan.
