Celebration of Life services for Bernard Bringmann, 87, Marengo and formerly of Williamsburg, will be 10:30 am on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.

Burial will be in the Pilot Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Rose Haven Nursing Home. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.

Mr. Bringmann died Monday, July 24, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo.

Bernhard Otto Bringmann was born June 25, 1930 near Guernsey, the son of Albert and Emma (Moller) Bringmann. Bennie was united in marriage to Mildred Tish on April 22, 1951 at the St. Paul Lutheran parsonage in Williamsburg. She preceded in him death.

Bennie was a life-long farmer, owned and operated Bringmann Welding and Repair and also worked at J and S Farm Supply before retiring.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed collecting Allis Chalmers tractors and toys, going to toy shows, flea markets, eating out for breakfast and spending time with family.

He is survived by two sons, Dale (Paula) Bringmann and Brian Bringmann, both of Williamsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son Larry, a brother and two sisters.
