SOUTH ENGLISH-Patricia Claypool, age 85, of South English, died Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.
Patricia was born February 21, 1932, in Iowa City, to Ezra and Oma (Holderness) Darling and attended Webster High School. She worked at Sheller Globe for 20 years.
On April 18, 1976, Patricia married Don Claypool in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended the Webster United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the casino.
Survivors include her son: Richard E. (Autumn) Street of San Tan Valley, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Jennifer, Richard II, Steven, Michael, Kendall, Carmen, Krista and Erik and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Don; two sons: Kenneth Street and Dennis Street; granddaughter: Melissa Street; brother: Robert Darling and two sisters: Monica Mace and Jane Cox.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Sorden Cemetery in rural Webster.
A general memorial fund has been established.
