KEOTA-Rick Pfannebecker, age 61, of Keota, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.

Celebration of Life Service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery.

Visitation was Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home. A general memorial has been established. Messages and tributes may be left atwww.powellfuneralhomes.com.

Rick was born January 5, 1956, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Elis and Mildred (Tinnes) Pfannebecker. He attended school in Kinross, Webster and North English. Rick was united in marriage to Jeannie Litwiller and to this union they were blessed with three sons. They later divorced.

He later was united in marriage to Susan Tweedy on July 29, 2008 at Lake Belva Deer.

Rick was a life long truck driver, he drove for 43 years retiring in 2012. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and watching Westerns.

He is survived by his wife Susan of Keota; three sons: Mike (Katie) Pfannebecker of Ankeny, Nick Pfannebecker of North English and Derrick Pfannebecker of Ottumwa; three step children: JR (Cena) Relfe of Washington, Stephenie Sherman of Harper and Emily (Zach) Rosenbaum of Keota; 11 grandchildren: Espen, Aiden, Jaden, Annabelle, Jayden, Ryan, David, Brenden, Kaylee, Oscar and Faith and a brother: Wally Pfannebecker of North English.

He was preceded in death by his mother, four siblings: Mike, Pam, Kathi and Linda and 3 grandchildren in infancy Luke, Bailey and Ruby.
