Leanne Marie Carlson, 79, died on January 12, 2017. She was born in Carroll, Iowa to Hilda [Jons] and Robert O. Moll.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard (Dick), Nisswa, sons, Gregory M., (Kari), Nisswa, Curtis R., Gainesville, FL, her beloved granddaughter, Cora, Nisswa, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois (Jim) Hensel, and a brother, Robert J. Moll.

She attended Coe College in Iowa, then moved to Minneapolis where she completed her education as a Medical Technician.

An expert in antiques, she owned Times Remembered in Nisswa for twenty-eight years and was President of Assets Analysis, Inc. in Minneapolis, an appraisal and inventory firm.

Active in community affairs, she held various offices and chairmanships in the Minneapolis Group of Women who founded Minneapolis Children's Hospital and was on its Executive Council. In Nisswa, she worked tirelessly in the Nisswa Area Historical Society and its Pioneer Village.

Burial services are private; those who wish may donate memorials to the Nisswa Area Historical Society. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
