Funeral service for Rozella Hahn, 83, Middle Amana, was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Middle Amana Community Church. She died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016.

Church elder Tony Berger officiated at the service.

Burial was in the Middle Amana Cemetery, Middle Amana.

Memorials may be contributed to the donor’s choice.

Rozella Hahn was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Blair, Okla., the daughter of Robert and Della Hagan Smith. She graduated from Amana High School in 1952.

She married the love of her life, Fred William Hahn, Aug. 18, 1951. She will be remembered most for being a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma. Her family was her world.

Hahn is survived by five sons Fred (Marcia), Jay (Susie), Brad (Lynn), Bill (Sue) and George (Michele); 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1973; her parents; a great-grandson, Timothy; a brother, Ken Smith, and a sister, Mary Lou Nightingale.
