Williamsburg- Rosalie Sharron Headley was born July 14, 1939 in Merna, Nebraska, the daughter of Clifford Leon & Virginia Bertha (Roerich) Ackley. She graduated from Kearney High School in 1957 and attended Kearney State Teachers College.

Rosalie was united in marriage to Robert Martin Headley on August 29, 1957 in Kearney, Nebraska. She grew up in Kearney, lived in Glidden, Iowa for two years before residing in Williamsburg.

Rosalie worked for Peterson Drug, then Security Savings Bank for many years. Rosalie was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Williamsburg.

She enjoyed golfing, quilting, baking, cross stitch and spending time with her family. Rosalie died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her home at the age of 76 years.

She is survived by her two daughters: Marcia (Jack) Geyer of Rapid City, South Dakota and Diana (Ian) Richardson of Eugene, Oregon; four grandchildren: Colin Geyer, Dylan Geyer, Caden Richardson and Henry Richardson; a sister Roxanna Iosty; and a brother Larry Ackley. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Pastor James Parks will officiate.
