Marcia A. Kellenberger, 48, Iowa City, formerly of Ladora, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospital. Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be sent in care of Janet Arduser, P.O. Box. 116, Ladora, Iowa 52251.

Smith Funeral Home, Victor, is in charge of arrangements.

Marcia A. Kellenberger was born May 25, 1967, in Grinnell, the daughter of Richard and Janet Young Arduser. She was raised in Ladora and graduated from HLV High School in 1985. She continued her education at Kirkwood Community College and earned her ADN (RN) degree in 1989.

She married Gregg Kellenberger in 1989. The couple had three children. They later divorced.

She was employed at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, in the neurosurgery department, for several years. She enjoyed traveling, feeding birds and reading and will be missed for her genuine smile and laughter.

Kellenberger is survived by her parents; one daughter, Ashley Kellenberger, Williamsburg; two sons, Lucas Kellenberger and Andrew Kellenberger, both South Amana; one brother, Marc Arduser, Iowa City; her fiance and best friend, John Laffoon, Iowa City; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her loving cat, Pooh Bear.
