Celebration of life service for Nicholas P. Hursh, 56, Parkersburg, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, Waterloo. He died Friday, July 3, 2015, as a result of a highway collision.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Nicholas Paul Hursh was born Oct. 29, 1958, in Marengo, the son of Paul Eugene and Dorothy (Roberts) Hursh. He married Cheryl Combs and worked as a machinist for Bruns Machine Inc., Cedar Falls.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Sons of Silence club for 30 years. He was also a member of Carpenters Union Local 678.

Hursh is survived by three daughters, Jess (Luke) Golke, Romeoville, Ill.; Melissa (Jerry) Weekly, Parkersburg, and Chris Brant, Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Wyatt and Winchester Golke and Amanda, Jessica, Jamie, Joe and Justin Weekly; one brother, Dan Hursh, Morgantown, W.Va.; one sister, Lori Hursh Rathje, Ely; many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
