Donna "Cookie" Ruhlow Schubert

Sept. 22, 1935 - Dec. 15, 2014

MARENGO - Celebration of Life services for Donna "Cookie" Ruhlow Schubert, 79, of Marengo will be at 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Sat., Dec. 27, 2014, at Lohff-Schumann Memorial Community Center in Holstein. Please come and share your memories, laughs and stories with our family.

She passed away Dec. 15 at her home in Marengo.

Cookie was born Sept. 22, 1935, graduated from Holstein High School and married Charlie in 1959. They made Holstein their home. They raised their children and resided in Holstein until 2008, when they moved to Marengo.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie; and four children: Kerry (Carla) Schubert, Clair (Mike) Morong, Kyle (Ruth) Schubert and Connie (Ray) Cooling.

Also surviving are her brother, Rene Ruhlow; seven grandchildren: Kayla Kelley, Kara Nielsen, Casey Morong, Wesley Schubert, Justin Schubert, Dalton Cooling and Dakota Cooling; a great granddaughter, Tenley; and many nieces and nephews.

Cookie was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Elmer Ruhlow; two brothers: Leon and Francis Ruhlow; and a grandson, Cody Schubert.
