Margaret Mary Boudonck Wauters, 92, died peacefully Monday, May 12, 2014, at her home in Belle Plaine, with her family by her side. A Christian Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at St.Michael's Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, with the Rev. Michael Mescher officiating and Deacon Joe Behounek assisting. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Hrabak Funeral Home with a rosary starting at 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Victor, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Camp Courageous, the American Heart Association and the Cancer Society.

Margaret, daughter of Charles and Romanie (Hudders) Boudonck, was born April 7, 1922, at Victor, Iowa. She married Raymond August Wauters Nov. 19, 1942, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Victor. They made their home in Keystone. Born to that union were four beloved sons, Charles, Kenneth, Dallan and Wayne.

Margaret is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Charles (Marcia) of Keystone, Dallan (Leona) of Marion and Kimberly of Keystone; eight grandchildren, Chad (Jodi) Wauters, Nicole Rhea, Wes Wauters, Jessica(Damian) Andrew, Melissa Wauters, Jennifer (Patrick) Stephens, Nick (Jennifer) Wauters, and Jake Wauters; 11 great-grandchildren, Zakary, Whitney and Jaxon Wauters, Kaila and Jaden Rhea, Lane and Margaret K. Wauters, Maci and Henry Andrew, Callie and Lucas (due in July) Wauters; one stepgreat-grandchild, Rylan Stephens; her sister, Alice Cleppe of Brownsdale, Minn.; brother, Julian Boudonck of Victor; two sisters-in-law, Margaret A. Wauters of Dysart and Evelyn Wauters of Brooklyn; three godsons, Robert DeMeyer, Jim Cleppe and Jerry Wauters; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond on June 27, 1972; sons, Wayne on Nov. 2, 2009, and Kenneth on Dec. 9, 2010; her parents; three brothers, Julien, Fred and Marshall; and one sister, Flavia DeMeyer.

Margaret will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered for all her good food and her open door Sunday hospitality. She enjoyed playing cards and their weekend family gatherings at each other's homes. Her greatest joy and love was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
