Memorial Services for Phyllis Wade Peters May 24

There will be a memorial service at the Powell Funeral Home in North English on Saturday, May 24, at 1:30 p.m. for Phyllis Wade Peters who died on Dec. 11, 2013, in the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Following the service at Powell's, there will be a reception at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in North English.

The Service is on the Saturday before Memorial Day and it is open to all who wish to attend.

Phyllis Peters, 82

Phyllis Peters, 82, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 in the Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL.

A family ceremony was held Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Laughlin Funeral Home in Huntsville.

A graveside memorial service will be held in the North English cemetery at a later date.

Phyllis graduated from North English High School, class of 1949.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Lena [Wallace] Wade and one brother, David Leroy, all of North English, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence J. (Pete) Peters of 57 years; one daughter, Barbara Ann Peters of Montgomery, AL and one sister, Judy Esslinger of Huntsville, AL.
