Landon L. Seye, age 22 of Victor and Brooklyn, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at his home. Funeral Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13, 2014, St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, Victor with Fr. Brian Shepley officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, February 12, 2014, Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his father Stephen Seye of Ladora; his mother Sheryal Bailey (Troy) of Des Moines; his sister Lindsey Vander Wiel (Eric) of Grinnell, and his brother, Logan Seye (Katherine) of Clutier; a nephew Kane Seye of Clutier; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Pat Seye of Ladora.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Jeannette Lender, and a cousin Taralyn Taylor.

Landon Lender Seye was born June 20, 1991 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Steve and Sheryal Seye. He graduated from BGM High School with the Class of 2010, and attended Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. He was employed with John Deere in Ottumwa.

Landon was a free-spirited kid who loved helping people and making them laugh. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He also enjoyed attending the local fairs.
