Ross Hadley Killed.

North English Boy Among the Dead in An Action in France.

There are sad hearts in North English this week since word was received Monday night that Ross Hadley, one of the American soldiers in France was killed in action on June 17th. No other particulars were received.

Ross Hadley was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hadley, of North English, and was among the first to enlist in this county. He was a popular young man, and Iowa County salutes the name of her first son who fell on the field of honor.

To the parents, brothers and sisters we extend sincerest sympathies, and feel that the heroic sacrifice of their loved one, in a noble cause, will enable them to bear their grief as heroically as he gave up his life.
