Frank A. Papritz, age 88 died July 21 at his home in Williamsburg. He was born in Akron, Iowa December 13, 1904 the youngest of eight children. He married Ruth Conover on November 9, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa. They lived in California until moving to Williamsburg in 1945.
Frank was the owner of the Williamsburg Maytag Store, retiring in 1964. He was active in the Community Club and a member of the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed his family, travelling and reading.
Frank is survived by his wife Ruth; a son F. Richard Papritz and his wife Elizabeth of Clinton, Iowa; one daughter, Linda Papritz Orff and her husband Robert of Crofton, Maryland; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
