Celebration of life services for Joan M. Enochson, 76, Williamsburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy.

She died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

The Rev. Gary Sears will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Conroy. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Interparish School, Williamsburg. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Joan Mary Enochson was born April 5, 1934, in Conroy, the daughter of Arnold and Ida (Schwarting) Halverson.

She attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Hilton Consolidated High School, Conroy, in 1952.

She married LaVaughn Erteld Aug. 17, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran, Conroy. He died Feb. 13, 1963.

She married Keith Enochson Nov. 12, 1963, in Williamsburg. He died Jan. 31, 2001.

She lived in the Conroy and Williamsburg communities most of her life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, where she was a member of the stewardship and flower committees. She enjoyed watching sports and crossword puzzles.

Enochson is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Deb Enochson, North Liberty; Brian and Jeana Enochson, Point Pleasant, N.J., and Julie and Ray Herrick, Algonquin, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Curtis, Molly and Tony Enochson, Amy and Kate Herrick and Kimberly and Elijah Enochson; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Kate Elizabeth Hodgson, and one sister and her husband, Marjean and Norman Glandorf, Williamsburg.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents.
