We learn from an obituary notice published in the Jerauld (Dakota) Messenger, that Thomas Hughes, whose death we chronicled last week, was 70 years old, and thath is last message to the citizens of Waterbury was, "Tell them to live religious lives, it's the only thing that pays for now and the future," and that the funeral service was well attended by neighbors and friends.
