Williamsburgh Journal, Williamsburgh (Iowa Co.), Iowa, 5 November 1886.
DIED--At the residence of Albert Hakes Esq. in H*__n [Hilton] Tp. Mrs. Anna M. R_[nd/ml]ey [Remley] in the 78th year of her age.
The subject of this notice was born in Monroe Co. West Va. Where she had her home until 1855 when with her husband who survives here, she came to this county and Tp. Here she has remained living a quiet christian life. Having been a professing christian for sixty five years.
For the few years past she has been almost helpless. About mid-summer she had something like an Apoplectic stroke which left her almost speechless and a return of some such thing was the cause of her death. Though such a long association intensified the endearment of wife and mother yet the afflicted mourn not as those who have no hope having this assurance "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
