JOSEPH McARTOR DEAD
Joseph McArtor, Sr., one of Iowa county's most highly respected pioneers, died at his home in Greene township Monday morning at one o'clock. He was aged about eighty years and was long prominent in the affairs of his locality and in the development of the county. He was the grandfather of County Auditor C. E. Chandler of this city. The funeral occurred Tuesday at two o'clock p.m., the interment being in the McArtor cemetery near his home.
