Williasmburgh Journal, Williamsburgh (Iowa Co.), Iowa, 16 April 1886.

DIED;--Wednesday April 14th., at the family residence, three miles north of this city, MRS. NICKOLAS LEWIS, aged about 45 yrs.

Thus a loving mother has passed out into that realm from whence none ever return. How hard for husband and children! The pale casket, the emblems of death, reminds us that no more on earth shall gather around the family circle, "Father, mother, sisters, brothers, all here." --part have gone on before. Perchance the sorrowing friends, may find some hope in the immortality of the soul, revealed in the christian religion. The poor erring pen fails to do but little when hearts are bleeding and eyes are flooded in tears, but the risen Lord, from gilded portals beyond the stars, can comfort all the bereaved and mourning ones.

The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday the 16th, at the Congregational church in this city. The interment in the cemetery near town.
