Gabriel S. Tanner whos death occurred at his home in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, may 18th, was an old time resident of Koszta. The remains were brought here for burial Saturday afternoon and were occompanied by his son Charles of Cedar Rapids and his daughter, Ms. Dora Sweezy of Cedar Rapids. He was one of this counties earliest settlers and left here about the year 1875 and since has made his home in Cedar Rapids. At the time of his death he was 87 years old. He leaves to mourn his loss the wife who is 86 years old and the son and daughter mentioned.
