Wilma I. Borst Harford, 100, of Living Center West, died there Tuesday, April 29, 2008, from complications of old age. Services: 3 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, by the Rev. William Harnish. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the chapel after 2 p.m. Friday.

Wilma is survived by her brother, Donald (Evelyn) Wilkinson of Cedar Rapids; her friend, Jack Kaylor of Hiawatha; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; and four sisters, Gladys, Lucille, Esther and Dorothy.

Wilma was born April 10, 1908, in Iowa County, to Warren and Ressie Carter. She first married Frank Borst and together they established Borst Upholstery, where they worked for many years. He died in 1975. She then married Edward Harford. He died in 2007.

Wilma liked to crochet afghans and do gardening. She was a very loving and caring woman who will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial fund has been established.
