Raymond Joseph “Jody” Chekal, 41, of Belle Plaine, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 on the family farm following a sudden illness. Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the Christ United Methodist Church by Rev. David Crow. Burial will be in the Koszta Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the church.

He is survived by: his wife, Christina “Tina”; son, Tyler at home; brother John A (Lorie) Chekal of Belle Plaine; sisters, Vicki (Rod) Blount of Belle Plaine, Kathi (Jr.) Martin of Luzerne; father and mother in law, Dennis and Donna Greenlee of Belle Plaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Chekal and Irene Werden.

A memorial fund has been established.
