North English Record

NOTE: Ernie Dixon was one of the more colorful characters of Hinkletown. After his parents died, he and his brother Frank continued to live in the Dixon home, just west of the Hickory Ridge School at Hinkletown, where they attended in the 1880s and 90s. The two were well-known and fondly thought of in the North English area, remembered to this day for their light-hearted dispositions.
