Williamsburgh Journal, Williamsburgh (Iowa Co.), Iowa, 2 Mar 1888, p3.
Married.
Wednesday evening, Feb. 22, 1888, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis, of Iowa Co., by Rev. H.F. Pugh, Mr. JESSE B. WORRALL and Miss CORA A. DAVIS, both of Iowa county.Thursday evening, Feb. 23, 1888, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Worrall, of Iowa Co., by Rev. H.F. Pugh, Mr. CHARLES W. SHAUL to Miss MARY Z. WORRALL, both of Iowa county.
It required no prophetic vision to comprehend that when these lovely daughters, modest and fair as the early blossoms of their prairie homes, worthily bestowed their hearts and hands, that there would be notable doing in those homes, where plenty vies with gracious hospitality to all who enter their portals.
The banquets spread in honor of these occasions would grace the home of royalty. There was all that could please the eye or delight the taste, all served a matchless grace and profusion that ministered to finer sence than mere carnal delight. Invitations were limited to relatives and close friends.
The tokens of friendship on both occasions were beautiful and valuable and spoke volumes for the estimation the happy parties held in the hearts of congratulating friends.
