22 Jun 1939, p. 2Funeral services for Mrs. James Lockridge, who died Monday at her home southeast of North English, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church with Rev. Robert Burns in charge. Burial was in the North English Cemetery.
Mrs. Lockridge was the former Anna Harriet Bonsall and she was born near Kinross (IA) September 26, 1881. On June 18, 1902 she was united in marriage to James Lockridge.
Four children were born to them, who, with their father, survive. The children are: Glessie of Balboa, Canal zone; Carroll of Hollywood, California; Milo of North English; and Mrs. Everett Roberts of South English. There are also four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Enlow of Des Moines and Mrs. Clint Yetter of San Francisco, California.
