Quite a number of Marengo and Ladora people attended the funeral of Mrs. Kime.

Mr. Alex McAdams of Victor and wife and daughter attended the funeral of her mother Mrs. Kime.

Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Clark were called home by the sudden death of Mrs. Clark’s mother Mrs. Kime.

DIED- at her residence in Marengo, Tues morning Feb 5th 1895, at 4:30 am, Mrs. N.F. Kime, aged 64 years, 4 months, 10 days.
Her death was caused by neuralgia of the heart.
She was born in Seneca County, OH in 1830. Feb. 22, 1855 she was married to N.F. Kime, who still lives to mourn her loss. By this union four children were born, three of whom are still living.

Her death was a shock to this whole community as it was expected that Uncle Nick (as he is generally called) would go first as his health was so bad. But alas! Who knows when death shall call. The funeral services were held here at the Ohio church, Feb 8, 1895, conducted by Rev. Huddleston. There was a large concourse of friends and relatives gathered to pay their respect to Aunt Sarah (as she was called). She was a charter member of the Ohio church, a good religious woman, an example to all…
