I am afraid I am going to confuse you even more. Thanks to the kindess of Marilyn Dose, she e-mailed me a few months ago the info on my Anna Christina (Schiernbeck)Mess second marriage to Peter Frank in 1892. When they filled out the marriage info, Anna Christina said her parents were August Schiernbeck and Liffe (or Lisse or?)Marilyn wasnt sure as it was difficult to read.
My mother says she thought Anna Christina's mother's name was Margaretha so do not think we are any further ahead on this connection unless the Liffe or Lisse was short for a longer name. Take care, Gloria.
