Robert Krager was born April 16,1895 near Holstein, Iowa. He served with the Army in WWI. He married Lillian Wienert April 16,1919 at Holtein. He was the custodian at the United Methodist Church at Holstein. He was also a member of the Dessel-Schmidt Post 225, American Legion at Holstein. He died May 15,1978 at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.
They had two children; Mrs. Royln (Mildred) Hansen and Eldon. (He also has two sisters, Mrs. William (Jeanette) Welte of Cushing and Mrs. Gladys Lohff of Sioux Falls.
*Roberts parents were Willie and Annie Madsen Krager. His great-grandparents were Theodor and Katarina Krager. (I have more information on these if you need them)Lillian Krager was born January 2,1897 in Ida COunty, Iowa to William and Minnie Schuett Wienert. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She died September 19,1979 at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove. (She also had a brother Bernhardt to was deceased and has one sister, Louella Lingle of Holstein).
ELDON Lester Krager, their son, was born October 31,1926 at Holstein. He married Lorraine Wunschel (My relation) on March 4,1946 at Yankton, SD. She was born March 29, at Arthur, Iowa to Edward and Alma Barthel Wunschel. They had three children;
Linda was born November 30,1947. She married Bruce Lingle; Douglas born July 5,1949; LuAnn born November 9,1954.
Eldon has passed away September 9,1987.
