The deceased was born in Delaware County, Indiana in 1855. Her maiden name was Luzena Barnes and on November 15,1879 she married A.J. Buell. They had eight children, four sons and four daughters, all of whoma are alive with the exception of one daughter that died in infancy.
The family came to Ida County in the fall of 1894 and have lived here ever since with the exception of a few months last year when they took a trip to Colorado for Mrs. Buell's health.
Mrs. Buell united with the Christian Church in childhood and when she came to Ida County became a member of the Church of God. The remains were laid to rest in the Hayes Chapel Cemetery and services were held at the Chapel and the Buell home in Silver Creek Township.
