William Alfred Bamberger was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bamberger and was born in Pennsylvania December 16,1875 and died at High Spire, PA on May 15,1946. He had attained the age of 70 years, four months and 29 days.
When he was nine years old he came to Iowa and made his home with William Ross. He married Cora Olive Secor on May 11,1900 at Kansas City, MO. They lived in Ida Grove, Iowa for many years.
Three children were born to them; one son which died in infancy; Major C.R. Bamberger of Sioux City, Iowa and Mrs. J.M. Hagenberger of High Spire, PA. He also has a brother living in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bamberger was converted, baptized and united with the Church of God in February 1894. His wife preceded him in death on April 15,1916. He and his children returned to High Spire, PA in 1925 where he resided until his death.
Funeral services were held at the Church of God on Wednesday with Rev. G.W. Stratton officiating. Intermnent was in the Ida Grove, Iowa Cemetery.

Cora's obit;
A great sorrow was brought to the home of W.A. Bamberger, a prominent carpenter-contractor of Ida Grove when his companion Mrs. Bamberger passed away at their home on Quimby Street, Sunday about 11:10 after a prolonged illness from tuberculosis.
Before her marriage she was Miss Cora Olive Secor. She was born at Mendota, Illinois on September 26,1880 and in 1883 came with her parents to Ida COunty, settling in Silver Creek Township. In 1889 the family moved to Ida Grove, and in 1900 to Kansas City, MO.
She was united in marriage to W.A. Bamberger May 16,1900 at Kansas City. They immediately returned to Ida Grove where they made their home. Three children were born, one dying in infancy.
Of this family Mrs. Bamberger is survived by her husband, the son, Charles Ross age 9, and the daughter, Donnoria, age 7. One sister, Mrs. J.F. Diebert of Ida Grove.
Funeral services were held today at 2;30 from the home on Quimby Street. Burial was made in the Ida Grove Cemetery.
