ARTHUR, Iowa — June E. Linman, 74, of Arthur died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at the Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Arthur Evangelical Free Church, with the Rev. Robert Lundberg officiating. Burial will be in Hayes Township Cemetery, rural Arthur. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Christensen-Ciha Funeral Home in Odebolt, Iowa. Visitation will resume from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Linman was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Herbert and Ruth (Frideen) Brask. She graduated from high school in 1942, then attended business school in Minneapolis before graduating in 1947 from the Free Church Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill.

She married James Linman on July 17, 1948, in Minneapolis.

She was a member of Evangelical Free Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a youth leader and deacon. he was also a member of W.M.S. Christian Women's Club and enjoyed reading and traveling.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Barb and Pat Joynt of Curlew, Iowa; two sons and their wives, Bruce and Josie of Stine, Germany and Marc and Joy of Kiron, Iowa; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Beverly Nordell and Barbara and her husband James Elrod, all of Minneapolis, Priscilla Johnson of Lindsborg, Kan. and Patricia and her husband James Rodine of North St. Paul, Minn.; and two brothers and their wives, Roger and Faith Brask of Minneapolis and Jay and Judy Brask of Apple Valley, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Craig Brask; and two brothers-in-law, Glendon Nordell and Lowell Johnson.
