June 8, 1947 - March 2, 2020

Loretta “Lori” R. Spaulding, age 72, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Morningside Care Center of Ida Grove, Iowa. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father Richard D. Ball will officiate. Committal will be held at a later date in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery of Northbridge, Massachusetts. The Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Loretta “Lori” Rand Spalding was born on June 8, 1947, in Grafton, Massachusetts. She became a resident of Morningside Care Center in the summer of 2014.
She loved cats, watching soap operas, reading, knitting, crocheting and putting together puzzles.
Survivors include her three children, Sandy (Cameron) Tollufsen of Battle Creek, IA, Lloyd (Tammie) Robertson of Mesa, AZ and Wesley (Teri) Robertson of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma Tollufsen, Aaron and Josh Robertson; sister Dorothy (Francis) Gosselin of Grafton, MA; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
