Battle Creek Resident Dies December 12
Funeral services for Louis Petersen, 66, former resident of Battle Creek, Danbury and Sioux City, who died Friday, December 12th, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a long illness, were conducted Monday afternoon, December 15, 1958, in St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Midway, with the Rev. W. H. Janke of Battle Creek, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Midway. Mr. Petersen was born January 1, 1892, in Ida County, Iowa. Survivors are the widow, Linda, a daughter Mrs. Richard Ryberg, of Cincinnati and three grandchildren. Among those from Battle Creek who attended the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hayes, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Strackbein, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kiertzner and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Albers.
