LaRue McShane Passed Away at Veterans Hospital
Funeral services were held Friday, June 4 at Christiansen Funeral Home for La Rue McShane, 77, of Ida Grove. Rev. Robert Shroyer officiated and the burial was in the Ida Grove Cemetery. Mr. McShane died June 2 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
La Rue McShane was born on Jan. 8, 1894, at Ida Grove. In 1920 he married Sarah Satterlee in Ida Grove.
Survivors include his widow; sons, Tom of Ida Grove and Donald of Indianapolis; daughter, Mrs. Richard Cullen of Le Mars; eleven grandchildren.
