BERNICE NAGEL

Former Alaska resident Bernice Nagel, 87, died June 20 in Palm Springs.

Born July 10, 1899, in Ida Grove, Iowa, she operated a small store in Glennallen for many years until she retired and moved to Palm Springs, Calif.

She leaves her sons, Bruce Kendall Sr. of Anchorage, and George Kendall, of Yuma, Ariz.; her daughter, Marion Bergen, of Yuma; several grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Her ashes will be scattered on Mount Drum near Glennallen.
