(August 26, 1930 – January 22, 2021)

HOLSTEIN – Private family services for Bonnie J. (Andresen) Satter, 90, of Holstein will be at United Methodist Church in Holstein with the Rev. Doresa K. Collogan officiating. Burial will be in Galva Township West Cemetery at Galva. Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home in Holstein is in charge of arrangements.
Bonnie Jean Satter was born in a farm home near Basset, Neb., Aug. 26, 1930, to John and Kathryn (Kackmiester) Kummer. She attended country school, walking 1.5 miles, until she was in the fifth grade, when the family moved to Iowa, south of Quimby. She graduated in 1948. Bonnie married Victor Andresen Aug. 13, 1950, at United Methodist Church in Correctionvillle. They made their home on a farm north and east of Holstein and raised three sons and one daughter. Victor died Jan. 6, 1985.
Bonnie married Morris “Bud” Satter in August 1986 at First Christian Church in Onawa. They lived in Onawa for two years and then bought a farm by Castana, where they lived until retirement. Bonnie and Bud moved to Galva, and later Holstein. Bonnie was a member of Holstein United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School while her children were growing up. Bonnie died Jan. 22, 2021, at Cherokee Specialty Care in Cherokee.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; an infant son, Bruce; five siblings; a granddaughter-in-law, Kathleen Satter; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her children: Timothy (Maureen) Andresen of Galva; and Thomas (Cheryl) Andresen, Jerry (Anne) Andresen and Linda (Steve) Klotz, all of Holstein and her step-children: James (Glenda) Satter of Glove, Ariz.; Luann (Alan) Puntney of Norfolk, Neb.; and Randy Satter of Luviers, Colo.
